I've completed my college course in June and I haven't been getting any money at all! I use to get EMA when I was studying. I'm going back to studying in October to do a 4 day working and 1 day studying. What money should I been getting until I go back to college? I have been applying for jobs but no positive feedback

  1. y do you need to claim benefits when you live at home and have most things provided for you.. get a JOB!! and do what all the other uni and college students do and earn your money, dont sponge off us tax payers!!!

  2. NO

  3. You're not entitled to any money.  You're not a full time student and you're living with your mother.

  4. You shouldn't be getting any money, you're meant to get a job!  You get money whilst studying so that in theory you don't HAVE to get a job which might affect your studies.  Whilst your not studying/ off for summer you can quite easily work.   I  go to uni and get a student loan but the payments stop over the summer so I also have to have two jobs.

  5. I think income support, but not sure. Go to your social security office and find out. Tell them your situation, i take it your training job won't be paid so you should be entitled to something even if your living with a parent.

  6. Get a job, and earn money, just like everyone else, you could have easily earnt a few grand from working between june and oct.

  7. you should be entitled to job seekers allowance. go to your job centre and ask for an application form. the worst they can do is say no.
