  1. It works. Understandably it's not popular. Why would the federal government and the gas companies let you in on this secret?

My brother in laws dad used to sell equipment for this and was in federal prison for 7 years as a result. No joke! They guy who makes the Water 4 Gas page actually does live events showing you how to do this.  If you live in the Los Angeles area check it out.

  2. Looks pretty shady to me. I would NEVER try that....

If it was legit you would hear it from a mainstream source not some shady website.

I think the concept is complete BS and wont work. Its a complete scam and they are just trying to make a quick buck.

  3. you always loose some energy in any conversion process.

for example if you want enough hydrogen to generate 100 horse power in an engine you will have use at least 130 h p of electricity to break the hydrogen from the oxygen in the water.

this is why commercial hydrogen is usually obtained from natural gas or from other sources through chemical & heat processes instead of electrolysis.

  4. To add a small amount of hydrogen to your motor will do nothing. There is no more oxygen in the motor to burn the hydrogen . The reason I say that is the motor is pouting out large amounts of CO ,which says that u don't have enough oxygen to burn what is already there.

  5. It's just a CON. Yes I said CON it’s been around since before the 1970’s. I can go into the math if you wish but in the end you're only getting back less the 20% of the energy that you put in.

I have a long detail explanation of why it won't work and I'll post it again if you wish, just leave an edit.

  6. This is what happens when you substitute shop class with environmental science in high school, and feel-good ecology for real science.  Dissociation of water into hydrogen and oxygen invariably requires more energy than you can recover by burning the hydrogen in the oxygen.  And that electrical energy isn't free: it comes from additional drag on the car's alternator.  It's this last point that the perpetrators of these schemes don't understand.  They're a bit short on electrical theory, which itself requires a bit more discipline to learn than they're willing to put forth.

  7. the water4gas is a great transfer device. it is quite efficient at transferring money from your pocket to the person you buy the information, or kit from. if that is what you are looking for, great, otherwise keep your money.

  8. check out brown gas in wikipedia.org. Pay attention to this line near the bottom:

The HHO trademark is associated with an unproven state of matter called magnegases, and a discredited theory about magnecules, [17] which is the basis for a number of fraudulent claims, and third party water-fuelled car scam attempts.

  9. It is a lie. A gimmick to make money on ignorant people.  Don't trust it.  It is like selling you "holy air".

  10. i really don't think its a good idea. because, burnning water is just as harm as burnning gas. because if you burn water then what will we use to survive? our fresh water is decreasing as it is. and even if you burn salt water its still not good, because even then, the glaciers need that water. because with out it. the glaciers will melt and then the climate shifs and that is global warming. so i think we should stick to gas until we find a better way, like compost or something.
