Can I get any kind of progressive lens at Lenscrafters?

They carry mostly their own brands of progressives. They used to be able to special order them, most of the time they will tell yolu that the ones they have are identical to the others, but as you will see, most of the employees are not certified opticians, they are sales people, so how would they know?

There are over 180 brands of progressive lenses.  Only independent opticians and eye doctors can get nearly every one available.  Lenscrafters, Eyemasters, Walmart, etc, can only get certain brands.

Some of the better brands...Varilux Physio, Zeiss GT2.

No, just a select few.  For example, they do not carry the Definity progressive made by J & J.
