  1. always ask your opticians before, but it you're ok, i've been to india, and there was no problem, as long as you're wearing the wright lenses !!! if in doubts. just wear your glasses !!! have a good time  !!!!!!!

  2. Yes you can, that's no problem whatsoever! Just never store the lenses in tap water (obviously!)

When I'm in 'dirty conditions' before taking them in or out I wash my hands and afterwards I sprinkle them with the lenses-liquid.

  3. yes.

  4. Yes you should be able to get contacts as long as you book an appointment now.  This is because if you don't get along with a certain type of contacts your optician may give you different ones to try.

I suggest you try daily contact lenses, this means you don't have to clean them at night ( which might be a bit risky in dirty conditions), all you do is throw them away each day.

If contact lenses isnt an option in the end, try getting a pair of prescription sunglasses ( most opticians sell these).

Have a great time in Africa, it sounds really good!
