I am a college student that needs financial aid because I have no way to pay for college.
My Dad is a self-employed contracter that has a decent income that might be too high to qualify. However, he has had two back-to-back cancers so he has tons of medical bills to pay. Also, he pays $2,500 a month for health insurance. Is that a lot?
Do you think the financial aid people should know that he pays $2,500 for health insurance? And maybe I could tell him about the medical bills?
My Dad will make good money during the week but at the end all the money goes to health insurance, bills, debt, etc....So there is no money left over for me to go to school.
Also, my parents did not pay their taxes yet.....So how am I going to find out their income?
Will a financial aid person help me?
