Can I get free shipping supplies at the U.S. Post Office?

It may seem like a silly question, but I really don't know. I know you can order "free" (just pay shipping) Priority envelopes, boxes, and other shipping materials online, like in packs of 10 or 25, but can I go to the local USPS office and ask them for a bunch to keep at home? Basically stock up so when I ship something, I have a USPS Priority box or envelope at home, ready to pack, so I don't have to do it at the post office. I can package it at home, then take it there, pay the shipping, and send it on it's way.

  1. USPS has an online store where you can order FREE shipping supplies that will be delivered to you for FREE (afterall, they're the Post Office)

I order from them all the time and their supplies are free -- and they won't even ask if you will use them or just put them in your garage
