Can I get glasses (frame/lenses) at a different place than where I had my eye exam?

I go to a little optometrist clinic near my house, family owned. But I'm not a huge fan of their frames. Can I go to a place like Lenscrafters and get frames? Do I need to bring a prescription or can I get the people at Lenscrafters to call the office for my prescription?

Yes you can go somewhere different than where you got your exam. The optical should be able to just call your doctor and have them fax over your prescription.
