Can I get high resolution pics from a messenger display pic?

My gf accidentally deleted the originals of a few pics that are on her yahoo messenger account as display pics and wants them back. I've tried enlargening screenshots of the messenger window, but those are pretty low resolution. Is there a way to get original quality and size back from a display pic?

Sorry to give you the bad news but the display pics on IM are converted to thumbnail size pics to allow for quick loading.  They look just like miniatures of the full size but all to bits of info for a larger size (blow up) has been lost.  If you enlarge more than a tad it will pixelate pretty bad.
