  1. Of course.

    As long as you have good grades and I think you might have to be able to speak good German. If you don't get in for a whole course then you can always take part in an exchange programme.


  2. Nope, not as simple as that. You are considered a "Bildungsausländer" and some German office (I don't know the exact name of it, but the German embassy should be ablte to tell you) would need to check your diploma on what courss you took (especially if you took college classes) and judge you individually based on that. But consider this: If one has a German "Abitur", which is the "diploma" that will get you into any German University or University of applied sciences (there's a differnce here in Germany, based on the school system as to who is allowed to study where with which diploma, but the "Abitur will get you in anywhere), and you would apply to an American College, many American schools will put you into your third year in College and let you skip the first two years. At least that is what I was told when I inquired about it some years ago. So this might have changed, but to your question I would still say: Nope. Not very likely.
