Okay, so I am going into the 8th grade at M.S. 172, and it has been my dream for a few years now to go to Townsend Harris High School.

Here's how I did in 7th grade:

total avg.- 97.60, however, my 4th semester final mark was 98.40

all my total avgs have been 95+ and have increased each semester.

NYS Math- 718

NYS ELA- 729 (which I don't understand since the grades were: 99, 97 & 99

I scored the 90th percentile on both.

I won a best science student award this year, and in 6th grade I had about 120 hours of service credit.

My teachers liked meh, so I can prolly get really good recommendations.

Idk if any of that stuff really matters, but I would like to noe if I have a good chance of getting in or not- I really need to get into this school :/

  1. You posted in the Genealogy category.

Your question is full of spelling mistakes.

You didn't say what county in Texas that this high school is in.

All in all, you should hope that the admissions committee doesn't peruse Y!A.

  2. You're a little late to apply for freshman year, but you can certainly apply for sophomore year. Your grades are good and hopefully so is your attendance. So go for it. The worst that happens is you don't get a spot and end up wait-listed.
