I'm an anxious, upcoming Junior with:

-3.89 GPA (UW), with 7 (3 Honors) classes Freshman Year and 7 (3 Honors) classes Sophomore Year

-1920 PSAT

-730 Chem, 640 Bio (I'm actually studying for Physics and Math II and am confident that I'll get 700 )

-5 Bio AP exam (I'll take Physics AP exam and am confident that I'll get 4-5)

-50 hours volunteering at hospital

-Freshman Sports: Varsity Cross Country and Junior Varsity Spring Track; Sophomore Sports: Varsity Cross Country, Varsity Winter Track, Varsity Spring Track

-Music: member of school Chorus since Freshman Year

-Misc: Member of Class Committee since Freshman Year

I'm very interested in liberal arts colleges; feel free to chance me at other schools, including universities. THANKS!

  1. I think you should have a great shot at all three.  Competition for top liberal arts colleges is extremely competitive and somehwat of a crapshoot so make sure you apply to a fair amount and some safeties and see where you are considered a great match.  I strongly suggest visiting the schools to determine best match and to demonstrate interest of you could experience the "Tufts Syndrome" where the school rejects you if they think you are not serious about attending.

  2. I would add Brown, Manhattanville and Haverford, as those might interest you as well.  You definitely are competitive for all those schools.  Have a great year, and do well on the SAT!
