Can I get into an AFROTC program?

In 8 months I will have an Associate of Arts Liberal Arts degree. I will have 75 credits; is this too many to enter AFROTC as a junior?

I am an Eagle scout. I also have a cumulative 3.3 GPA.

I am guessing my grades would not be high enough for a scholarship or are they?

  1. Hello Perpetual Confusion:

Contact the Professor of Military Science at the University you will be attending next fall. He or she will have the correct answers.

You can join ROTC as a junior, but you will need to attend a training session over the summer between your sophomore and junior year. You may have the grades for a scholarship, provided you have excellent health, physical fitness, and good vision.

    Best of luck!
