Okay, I'm going to be a junior in high school this year at a private catholic high school in Minnesota. I have a 3.4 right now, I had a 52 math, 47 writing, and 45 reading on the psat. I am lettering in service, and hopefully choir as well. I'm also working on getting my gold award for girl scouts. I take guitar lessons, and am currently volunteering at the hospital for four hours every other week. I've had a summer job working at a theme park and I've been a camp counselor, worked Sunday school, and am applying for a job at project kids (an after school kid care). Do you think I would be able to get into:

- ASU

- Pepperdine

- University of Wisconsin-Madison

- Creighton

- Florida State

- University of Central Florida

  1. Anyone can get into Florida State.

  2. You have a good chance at ASU, FSU and UCF.

Your GPA is holding you back and not giving you a good chance at Pepperdine, University of Wisconsin-Madison and Creighton.

I suggest trying to raise your GPA and apply to one dream school, one school that you think you can't get in, one school you think you can get in and a safety school if you can afford all the application fees.  You never know if you could get in if you don't apply so definitely apply to at least one dream school that you think you can't into.

  3. just keep working hard

  4. i think that you should take some time out of working and stuff and try to get your grades up.

while all of that sounds great on an application, they look more at the grades.

  5. You would need a really good essay but it is possible. your sat scores seem a little low but your gpa is pretty good. And those are only the psat's you will probably do better on the actual thing because your brain will be in overdrive. Just keep up all the good work.
