Can I get my airline ticket refunded if?

A hurricane is in the area. I live in Florida and Im traveling to San Diego for a business trip and to arrange a place to stay there?

DO I get a refund or do I pay all over again which would be BS?

  1. Most airlines waive rebooking fees if flights are canceled due to natural disasters. They probably won't give you a refund, but you should be able to rebook for later dates (within limits) without extra fees. The airline probably will have its policy on its website. If not, just call them.

    Your flight won't necessarily be canceled unless you are located close to the storm, such as in the Florida panhandle. As long as it is safe to take off, the aircraft will probably just detour around Hurricane Gustav.


  2. Call your airline, if they cancel your flight, they will rebook you for free.

  3. If your flight is canceled due to natural disasters they will rebook......I don't think you will get a cash refund........
