Can I get my check back?

Question

I received a Wells Fargo check then went to my bank, Bank of America. I proceeded to then deposit it into the ATM on Monday. Although, I have found out that I need that money asap, by today, and the money from the check has not been transfered into my account yet. Is it possible to go into the Bank and get my check back, then go an cash it instead? Or am I dreaming too much?

Once your check crossed the threshold of the bank, there is no way to retrieve it.  Go in and talk to the bank manager and see if he will help you.

The check has to clear before you can access the money.  This would have been the case whether or not you used the ATM.
