Can I get my id, metro card, and schedule on the first day of school?

I'm starting my first year of high school this September, and I was told that on August 29th I had to go to the school to get my id, metro card, and schedule. But the thing is that I'll be at Ecuador during that time and I won't get back until the 30th on midnight. I'm really nervous because I won't be able to be there to get all my stuff for the new year. So I really want to know if it is possible to get my id, metro card, and schedule on exactly the first day of school? If not, what am I gonna do? My mom says the school is closed in August so I can't call them to reschedule... I really need an answer, please help me.

Depends on your school really; I would take a parent, cause they love sucking up, and will pretty much do whatever to make them happy.
