Can I get my learners licence in my province, but not my town?

I want to take it when I am next week in my Dad's town. I live in Alberta. I am 14.

  2. As long as it is for your province that is all that matters.  Wait...you can get your learner's permit at 14 in Alberta?  Dear god that is far too young, even 16 is pushing it in age for a lot of people.
