Question:

Can I get my legs waxed?

I've got an appointment on Saturday to get my legs and underarms waxed but my skin is a bit irritated (some redness on some follicles from having plucked some ingrown hairs with tweezers). I don't think the wax will do a lot of harm, but do you think the beautician will be reluctant to wax them for me? I really want it done as I'm going on holiday on Tuesday. Also, have you got any tips to make the skin a little less irritated before Saturday?

  1. u could try sudacream i use it on irrated skin and it is a total godsend ,to be honest i think it will probably be ok by saturday

  2. There are different types of wax (kinds with lavender or chamomile etc...) you waxer should be an expert and know which formula to use on your skin type

  3. No they will still wax them for you. They won't care. A body wash with Shea butter usually helps when my skin is irritated.

  4. i know that a lot of places that do waxing have a certain type of wax for sensitive skin. so just ask for that. and to make your skin a little less irritated, put some lotion on them. red bumps after waxing and such should go away in 30 minutes or so with lotion

  5. make sure you exfoliate the area that will be waxed a day before your appointment this should help lossin the hairs. good luck

  6. The waxer is the expert, ask them.   As long as the wax is not too hot you are sorted!

  7. I have eczema on my face and my under my eyebrows. I went to get my eyebrows waxed and she said she had someone last week that eczema and she had them waxed and it brought her eczema up even though it wasnt on her face. But the beautision plucked my eyebrows for me and waxed the middle bit. I no they cant pluck your legs lol but i thought this might help!

    Good Luck
