Can I get my miles to show up on my new MileagePlus account, even though the trip was last month?

Okay.

So I signed up for United's MileagePlus today, but the problem is that the miles don't show up for my last trip because it was booked (and taken) before I made the account.

I really really want to put my flights to and from Europe on there!

Is there a way to do this?

ps. The trip was in June. We flew there on Lufthansa and back on United.

You're going to have to request mileage credit from United's website, it will show what documentation from your previous Lufthansa you'll need. You can check it out here:

No, you won't be able to claim miles before you became a member of Mileage Plus.  If you signed up before departure and forgot to put your number on your reservation, then you could've requested retroactive credit online with your reservation number, or by phone.  Sorry.
