Sure, you can do just about anything that you can do at a Post Office online at usps.com as well.

Saturday is a normal delivery day for the USPS.  If the item has not been attempted for delivery previously then prepare to see a Letter Carrier at your door asking you to sign a peach colored slip.  If you already received the slip that means you missed the Letter Carrier and can either pick up your item at the PO or call them up and the Letter Carrier will re-deliver your item.
