I have two male desexed rabbits, they are both around 2 years old. i have just introduced them to each other but all one does is chase the other and try to hump him. are they just working out who is dominant and will he loose interest and leave him alone or will they probably never get along?

  1. They are just asserting dominance they'll probably stop after a while.

If they start fighting you'll have to separate them.

try and leave them to it.

  2. I raise rabbits to show, and I highly suggest not keeping two rabbits together at all, no matter if they have been fixed or not. Males do get aggressive and most rabbits want individual attention, not fighting to get attention from you. I think they would be fine in individual separated cages next to each other.

It is up to you to decide what you want to do, but I don't think that the two rabbits will ever be able to get along and play the way you described. Only when they arelitter matess do they get along together, and even then you have to watch them.

Hope this helps a little, but it's ultimately your decision to make.

  3. Well put on the humped rabbit some thing that smells bad after a while they would stop
