Can I get my vehicle back?

Someone else was driving my vehicle and got stopped they search the car and found cocaine, they impounded my car? Can I get it back? This person was by himself in my car?

petition the court that it is creating a hard ship. But you had better have a clean record or theres no chance. also in California they charge you storage of your impounded car which can be like $1200 a month

You are responsable for who you let drive your vehicle. After they are done inspecting the car and using it in the court case if needed they will sell the car at auction.

You may have the option of getting it back in a couple months after all the court stuff is done. you will be responsable for tow charges and hundreds and hundreds of dollars of staorage fees.

If this car was reported stolen then you will get your car back and maybe not have to pay for anything. You still may have to pay the towing and storage and then sue the cokehead for the money....and that still doesn't mean you will get your money if he has none.

Take this as a learing experiance and be more careful of who drives your car in the future.
