Question:

Can I get pregnant when I haven't had my period?

I know this seems like a silly question... I am 24, and TTC with my husband. My last birth control (depo) was supposed to wear over 5 months ago, but I haven't gotten my period since then. Is it possible to get pregnant at all right now? Is there anything I can do?

  1. Maybe try getting on the pill for a month or so?  Its supposed to help your cycle.  It did mine.  My last depo was January.  d**n THAT DEPO!

  2. i know how you feel! when i went off depo it took 8 months for me to get my period back and even then, i will have one normal for a couple of months, then miss a couple. i dont think you can get prego though. i would go to the doctor and see if there is any way they can help you regulate them to increase your chances. good luck.

  3. not that i know of

  4. Providing that you ovulated, Yes!!!

  5. You need to have a period to build up a fresh lining that is needed for implantation.  A doctor can either give you birth control or provera to get your estrogen levels to normal.

  6. You could get pregnant. You never know... I did not have my period for several months after getting off birth control and my period has been irregular ever since. Call your Dr. If you are wanting to get pregnant anytime soon starting talking to her now! Good Luck!

  7. it took me 13 months to get my period back from depo every 1 is different try and let your body come back normally i wouldnt go back on the pill cos it only flares things up again , drink heaps of water and go and see a natropath as depo depleats ur iodine and magnesium level . idoine is vital for helping conceive.. also too i only had 2 shots of depo they say between 6 and 12 months
