Can I get rat toys from the dollarstore?

Like, the little doll furniture and baby toys and stuff like that? Is it safe? It's sertainly ALOT cheaper than the stuff at the petstore

yeah. things like fisher price houses for 5 bucks from garage sales are great too

Hmm...

I would imagine that you could without any problems.

Just naturally make sure that you don't get anything too tiny so that they would try to eat it and choke.

And for little baby toys I would also keep an eye on those too because if it has like fabric on it the rat might eat it and the fuzz would get stuck in it's intestines and that's never good.

Yep! I do that, and I know plenty of people who do it, too! Just use your good judgment and make sure not to buy anything made out of toxic materials (although if they're toys for babies and children I don't think that would be a big problem). Bird toys are also a good option for rats.
