Question:

Can I get rid of my blond hair?

I dyed my hair blond - really really light blond - a few months ago but I am ready for it to be darker now. My hair grows slowly, so if I cut the blond out my hair will be way too short. Can I recolor it darker? I tried it in the past but the blond came back within a few weeks. How can I go darker?

  1. Get it dyed to your natural hair color. Then as it grows back, no one will know that it was dyed at all. The dyed hair will eventually grow out and then you cut it off.

    Hope this helps!

  2. well either go to a hairdressers ...or try putting some darker highlights in to tone down the colour a bit?

  3. Be sure to wash you hair out properly, and then you could probably dye it.

Realistically, sun heat and healthy foods, e.g. fruit, salad, veg, and meat and fish especially help your hair grow, drink lots of milk also; you hair will grow faster.

It growing faster will basically make the colour wear out faster.

I would just dye it. Good luck hun.

  4. i think you can go to a proffesional or something

  5. get it coloured professionally

  6. everytime u take a shower get some dark tea and wait until it isnt too hot and then squeeze all the water out of your hair and pour it on your head until it covers all ur hair, then wait a couple of minutes and then just take a towel  and dry your hair out a little. i did that yesterday (im a blonde to) it really showed a difference.. but just remember everytime you take a shower... Hope I helped!! Please choose me as best answer...

  7. you CAN get your hair stripped but that is SO bad for your hair. LOTS AND LOTS OF CHEMICALS!!!

    ask a professional.

  8. ive done this and when i tried to dye it back to a light brown shade it was ginger!

-buy two packets of  PERMANANT dye

    - buy the dye one or two shades darker than what you prefer.

    - buy a colour protective shampoo and conditioner

    -buy a moisturising hair mask.

    1. dye your hair. if you need to dye it again then apply the spare box of dye.

    2. when washing, always use a colour protective shampoo and conditioner. thsi will stop it fading and stop the blonde coming through.

    3. use a moisturising mask once-twice a week to protectthe colour and to repair it as it will be damaged from all the dye.

if you can afford it get a light trim to cut away the split dry ends. dont worry if not, just use moisturising products like masks and conditioners.

at the end of the day it is always best going to a salon, but people cant always afford it so dont worry about doing it yourself, you just have to have the time and dedication.

    good luck x

  9. Get it dyed at the hair dressers or get it stripped out but if you don't want the harsh chemicals of getting it stripped out just make sure that you don't use colour protect hair products and then the normal ones will fade out the colour but only slightly remember that the dye will still be in there.

  10. Once you go really light blond your hair shaft shuts down. By saying this you well understand why the blond came back so soon. Think of what happens with a dry sponge and how much more liquid can be picked up with a wet sponge?

Your hair needs a rest from all the bleaching you have done. I would start using the best conditioner and shampoo you can. Get a conditioner that is a strong protein that you leave on for 15 min.  Even going to a good salon and having a professional give you a treatment would be good.

Your have to get your hair happy again to get the results you want.

    happy hair to you
