Question:

Can I get rid of the hunch on my neck?

I have this hunch on my neck, just about where my back begins. I really hate it because it shows when I wear my hair up. I think it's because I don't sit, or stand up straight. It kind of hurts me when I do so. Is that a bad habit? Is there anyway I can get rid of it? If I start standing up straight do you think it'll go away? When I do sit or stand up straight, it starts to hurt after a while. I really don't wanna grow older and develop an even larger hunch than the one I have now. What should I do?

  1. the "hump" is natural. everyone has it, some a bit larger than others. it is called the vertebral prominence...a bone from the lower neck or upper back. it will not get larger or smaller (depending on your age)

  2. exercise and massage

  3. First see your doctor, but then go get a massage.
