Can I get service hours for this?

I am planning on boxing up and shipping Beanie Babies from people in my homeroom and from my own collection to soldiers in Iraq. Can I get service hours for school for this if my mom or dad signs it?

  1. No.  Service hours is time you spend actually involved in a community service.  Volunteer at the food pantry or library.


  2. I don't see why not. Your teacher will be aware of it, so backing it up won't be a problem. You can also check with the person running the program, but it sounds to me like something TPTB would approve of.
