Can I get sms alert on my mobile when my friend comes online?

When we log in to messenger from a computer , we get alerts when somebody goes online/offilne. If I have logged into yahoo messenger throught my mobile , then is is possible to subscribe for sms alert when friends in my messenger list come online or go offline.
