Yes, you heard me. I'm going to attempt DIETING *gasp*. Do you have any advice? Just anything that could possibly help me in any way? Good ways to kick it off, what not to eat, good ways of exercising, etc.?

Thanks! :)

  1. start by what you eat. make sure you are eating a low fat/ high protein diet. eat things like chicken, shrimp and fish. also eat a ton of fruit and vegetagbles and dont forget that you need GOOD carbs. things like whole grain and wheat breads. then set a goal for your self. for me my goal is getting in shape for the police acdemy and it has helped tremedously. also drink hald your body in ounces of water each day:)

  2. Im on a great diet. I limit the amount of sugar and carbs I eat. The "diet" kind of sucks. I mainly eat chicken- Drink LOTS of frikin water lol. Don't drink soda or juices. DONT eat fruit- you can eat berrys (those are good for you and dont contain lots of sugar). Cut out the fast food- even if your just getting a salad. I've lost 20 pounds in 4 weeks.

  3. cut carbs, drink lots of water, cut sugar out..eat plently of chicken and fish. .and walk everyday about 30 minutes then add 5 mintues every week..you will see the changes soon enough

  4. Hi there,

A great way to start and be successful is to get a plan together.  A surefire way to succeed is to make sure that you have a target weight, you figure out how to fit your new diet into your current life without turning upside down and you have the support of your family and friends.

  5. Dear, at first you gotta be patient. Don't hurry too much. Cause once you manage to lose weight and then start eating like you used to be, you'll gain again. And after all, you'll constantly have to diet in the future. but there is a way to avoid this. You have to set your goal weight and date . There are many sites, which can help you a lot. (www.caloriecount.about.com; I''m a user of this site, it's pretty good, there are many tools, which will probably help you!) You'll have to watch at your meal portions, be careful to the carbs, fats. But this really doesn't mean that you should stop in-taking them. Just remember 3500 calories are 500 grams. I mean if you lose further 3500 calories, you'll lose 500 gram ( 1 pound), if you overeat 3500 calories, you'll gain 500 grams. But if you eat less calories, than you do burn per day, you can count on me, you'll lose weight. You'll have to keep your metabolism rate high and also you'll have to train. Do some good exercises everyday for about, 30-45 minutes. You could eat 35-30% of fat each day. Eat lots of veggies, fruits and reduce sugar amount. It is really important to drink plenty of water. And finally, keep yourself motivated and encouraged. Do not lose confidence in your self. Use whole strength to do it, you should become as much powerful as you can. There must be nothing that would  stop you, even a chocolate bar=))))

I'm 16 years old ( going to be 17 in 1 week) and I managed to lose 20 kilos. I did too much and nearly became anorexic, then I visited doctors and they gave me lots of good advices. So I would love to share them with you, as I do not want anyone to go through my way. Good luck dear, I'm sure you'll manage to do it.

    Love, Anna
