Can I get some feedback on this poem please?

Question

Broken Promises.

Empty truths.

Full of lies.

She's alone and cries.

He says he'll change.

Claims things will be better.

She lives with that hope.

Does anything change? Nope.

"I Love you"

That's what he says.

She wants to believe it.

But he just doesn't get it.

Words mean nothing.

Actions speak the truth,

So where is the proof?

This lonely girl is so naive.

Could someone say three words,

that completely fill her heart?

D*** he must be smart.

Knows just what to say,

To make her stay.

Everyone warns her,

To escape while she can.

But she's so in love with that man.

He's full of lies.

She looks into his eyes,

She doesn't see love.

But she will rise above.

Well... I'm sorry, I wouldn't call it excellent poetry. But I can see you put thought and feeling into it, and you tried to make it rhyme. The theme of a difficult relationship is something lots of people can relate to.

If you turned it into a song it would be better, I think.

That was excellent. it was filled with emotions and truth. Sometimes love really does make us blind. It was an excellent poem. Props to you.  I would take off my hat but i don't have one on so i can't. But still good job!
