You must have insurable interest in any car listed on your policy, meaning basically you have to be the owner.  Not just in title, on the registration and any loan too.  If you are not and you add the car anyway, a claim will be denied once the insurance company finds out you don't have insurable interest, and they WILL find out.  

  3. nope- your name has to be in the contract ... only a person who has signed or co-signed your car can have insurance...
