Question:

Can I get the dry loop dsl from AT&T?

I have 3 cell phones with AT&T and I live in Ashville, Alabama. I hate having to pay for a slow dial up internet from Ragland Phone Company. I have to pay for the land line and then pay for dial up internet which runs me about $60 for DIAL UP INTERNET. So is it possible for me to get the dry loop dsl added to my AT&T cell phone bill or anything? Please help!

I don't want a land line phone I just want internet!

  1. AT&T does offer dry loop DSL.  They will try to sell you their basic service though.  Make sure you stress that you only want the DSL service.

BTW.. check out this new Wi-Fi phone that works with AT&T cell phones.  It saves your cell minutes when you are in a Wi-Fi area and your calls are billed through the VOIP carrier ($24.95 per month).  This is great when you are home because the phone picks up your wireless signal from your DSL and saves your cell minutes.  So, this is a cell phone/Wi-Fi phone in one. I have it and it works great!!!  The site is http://www.globalinx.com/products-plans....

Scroll to the bottom of the page and click on the Nokia N95 Wi-Fi Phone for more details.  To order click the home button and pick your plan.

    Best of luck to you.
