Kso the other day I was biking with some friends and I was wearing a sweater but I took it off because I got really hot and tied it around my waist. The hood was rubbing on my tire and I didnt know it for about 15 minutes. Is there anything I can use to get my dear WHITE HOLLISTER sweater back to its old self ? ;)

Thanks ! :)

  1. shout

    bleach

    dishsoap (clear)

    sometimes white toothpaste

    hotwater

  2. Here is a list of some easy things you may want to try;

    1) Shampoo >rub on stain>wash as normal

    2) Dawn dishwashing liquid works best >use as prewash treatment

    3) Make a paste with laundry detergent & water, rub on, set 30 minutes or longer, then wash.

    4) Hairspray >is good for greasy stains, ink, and more

    5) Soak fabric in water then rub Aloe Vera Gel on stain, and wash

    6) Coca Cola > pour some on stain, set for a few minutes, and wash.

You also can add a whole can of Coke to laundry and wash.

    7) Sprinkle Talcum Powder on stain. Set overnite, best to hang in sun then wash as normal.

    8) Ammonia & Detergent Solution >adjust ammonia  for stength. Depends on how bad stain is. Ammonia will not harm clothes. You can put some right in washer for those "Just in case stains."

    9) Lestoil >put on stain, rub gently, rinse. Repeat without rinsing and wash as normal.

    10) Spray stain with WD-40 >set 20 min. then rub some dish liquid soap (Dawn is good, but other will work) on wd-40. Rub well. Rinse and smear a bit more dish liquid, wash as normal.

    UUUGGGHHH....one of these gotta work!!!!

  3. If it is plain white, then bleach would probably work.

As for other things, I have heard a lot of random stuff. Like, bugspray works on some stains. Also, hairspray.

  4. Well have you put it through the washing machine yet? Or you could handwash it if it's a nicer sweater. And if it's pure white I believe you can bleach it. If it's cream, then I wouldn't recommend that. You can also try zout or oxyclean, just follow the instructions.

  5. anything that is pure soap...Ivory is the only one I know that is 99.9% pure

    Try it..can't hurt anything

  6. Take a cotton ball or q-tips and dip it in Bleach and put it on the stain..

MAKE SURE YOUR WASHER IS FILLING WITH HOT WATER.

then throw the sweater in the washer ASAP...you can do this with all white items and a stain...it will wash all the bleach out, not damage the fabric and get the stain out.
