Can I get to Farringdon Train station in London without going on the Tubes?

Hi,

I am living in Southend and I need to get to Farringdon from London Liverpool street without going on the Tube, anyone got any good routes? I dont mind walking!!

  1. Get a taxi from Liverpool Street.. will only cost you about a fiver


  2. You could walk in about 20-30 minutes.

    I suggest you buy a London A-Z.

  3. Yes, its not that far from Liverpool St where the Southend train I think goes to - just over a mile.  The map link below shows yuo the way.

    You can get the tube - they're not that scary!

  5. Try the London Transport website - if can give you a route plan for the travel modes you specifiy and does maps and all sorts - it's very good and should help you.
