Can I get updates for my original LG Voyager for free?

I own the original LG Voyager and I saw that just recently they came up with the LG Voyager in Titanium. But I also heard that people who have the original can take their phone in to a verizon wireless store to get an update on their phone to make it more like the titanium (like firewall stuff and other updates). Is this true, and what is the cost? Is it free?

You can get free software updates, i don't think you can get the titanium version of the Voyager free because it requires a hardware change.

I would call your nearest Verizon store and ask them if they have the 09 firmware update for the Voyager. The reason is not all stores do firmware updates.  It is a very good update and includes visual voicemail and much much more.
