My 14 month old used to be a great sleeper but after about a month of teething followed by a respiratory infection, she doesn't want to go to sleep. We have a night time routine of Pj's, story, bottle but it's just not working lately! She been up til midnight or later for the last week or better. She acts like she's sleep, but she just won't close her eyes & drift off! I don't want to give her any drugs to knock her out, but it seems like she does need some help getting to sleep. I thought maybe some warm chamomile tea while we're reading would help her get to sleep. Anybody have any suggestions or experience with chamomile?

  1. The best thing you can do is pick up Dr. Marc Weissbluth's book "Healthy Sleep Habits, Happy Child". I bought it when my daughter was teething and she just wouldn't sleep at night. It's the best thing ever! You may be able to find it at your library so you don't have to buy it outright.

    Good luck

  2. Yes, diluted to half strength.

  3. Talk to her doctor....it may be something more. Good Luck!
