  1. It depends on the conditions.  If it was strictly a condition of your probation and your probation is up, then you're fine, but if you are banned by the store, then you can't go back.

  2. It happened to me once and I am never allowed back in the store. I am allowed back into the mall after a year, but an officer did actually give me a stay away order for a year...The store did not give me anything, but I think in court they said it. (It was Macy's dept store).

  3. i would think so but you need to make sure

  4. Oh I assume you was arrested for shoplifting.  Even more convinced if you got six months probation either you took something quite valuable or you did it more then one time.

Shoplifting is not a crime you usually get more then a fine for...

I would stay away from the store...

  5. Depends.  If part of your probation was to pay a fee in a certain time frame, then that does not mean that probation is over, that means that only the stipulation of paying a certain amount for six months on a monthly basis is fulfilled.

If your agreement states that you will stay away from the store without indicating a certain time frame, then that means that you still have to stay away from the store or you are breaking the terms of your agreement(in order to avoid jail).  A seperate clause, stipulating you to stay away from the store means that you have to stay away from it, even if probation is finished.....so be very, very careful.....

  6. Why would you want to go back there when it sounds like it ended in trouble for you in the first place?  Anyway, your probation officer should have informed you of any restrictions.

  7. As a police officer, a lot of stores I have dealt with in shoplifting (assuming this is what you are talking about) ban the suspect from the store forever.  If the store is within a mall, they are banned from the mall for a year.  They are not only given a No-Trespass warning that the suspect usually signs, but I have to make sure they understand as well.  You can be charged with trespassing if you go back and you are not supposed to be there, and yes, they really do catch people trying to go back.  Check with your probation officer to see if you were issued a no-trespass warning from the store (if you don't remember getting one).
