I'm 17 and it's my senior year of high school and my friend invited my to go on a cruise with him and his grandpa. Am I able to go with or do I need to have my parents go too?

(It's on Royal Caribbean if that matters)

  1. if you are under the age of 21 you must have someone 25 or older. so have a blast!! :]]

  2. yeh you can go! you don't have to have ur parents, kids fly overseas all the time that are younger than you.  all you need is a passport.  since ur not 18 ur parents will have to sign off on the passport saying that they are allowing you to go.  but once you have ur passport ur set!

  3. as long as youve got a guardian parent yes,but Im not your mother!

  4. Yes it is possible.   But since you are a minor, Royal Caribbean will require that you have a notorized statement from you parents stating that this is ok.   The cruise line requires that at least one person in the room is 25 years old or older.   With that and a passport, you are good to go!

  5. U have to have someone 21 and older to go on a cruise without your parents. Since his grandpa is going then u need a notarized letter from your parents saying that his grandpa has full authority to make medical decisions on their behave.

  6. I think since you are a minor your parents will have to sign a paper that it's okay for you to go and giving your friend's grandpa guardianship over you while you are on the cruise so he can sign for you if you need medical help, etc.

  7. ISnce your friends granda is going with you guys than its ok. There are a couple of thing you need to have though... your passport, and a signed letter from your parents saying that your friends grandpa is acting as a gaurdian and has the rights to give u medicine, food.. ect..
