  2. Mexico does not do background checks until you are arrested for something.

    No hope of bail.

  4. No problem going. Getting back into the US might be a problem. Check with the city/county where you were charged and convicted and see the status.

  5. If you are not from the USA and there is a stop there, don't even try.  My cousin was not even allowed on the boat because the US government did background checks on every male on the ship.  His record is over 15 years old, drug possession.
