  1. Certainly. 14 is too early for anyone to say yes or no.  I know kids who were scratch at age 13 and did nothing. There are guys on tour who couldnt make their high school or college team.  Becoming a great player is a full time job.  It is hard work. You can be as good as you decide you want to be.

  2. You have to be a 1 handicap in Canada to turn pro. And you have to shoot two 76's in a row to become a CPGA pro, to teach and stuff you'd have to do better probably.

  3. How do you play in competition?  Just becasue you shoot 70's to 80's doesn't mean much.  Do you regularly beat your opponent?  Have you played in any amateur tournaments?

  4. to early to tell . bust your but , train hard , contact sport , wide reciever hard . when you cannot think you  have to stop .keep going b. if you hurt keep going . it takes a prime athelte to play golf . tiger is in condition of a pro boel free safety .. 6 months retraing olympics . that is what is required today .

  5. This seems to be a very popular question lately....must be because the golf season is ramping up....everyone wants to be out there playing golf with Tiger instead of sitting by the fireplace trying to keep their tootsies from freezing off!

At 14 you have plenty of time to improve and become a professional golfer. People mature at different rates, some are good early, some a good late. Keep practicing, taking lessons, learning all you can about the game, and you'll do fine.

    Good Luck!

  6. YES !!

At age 14 you can do just about anything.  Look at Michael Jordan's Basketball Career.  At your age you probably don't know Michael Jordan was cut from his Varsity High baketball team.

If you can shoot in the 70's at your age, you obviously have the physical talent.  The question is ... are you ready to practice like a pro ?

Are you ready to play 4 times a week and hit 100's of balls and putt for hours.  If that is fun for you and you can still keep up in school ... you could do well as a pro.  You could be getting a college scholarship.

Look at VJ Singh's career.  He is a great example of what working harder than everyone else will accomplish.

I say ... If you are already practicing 8 hours a day and not getting any better... you have no shot at being a pro.  But if you have room to work harder... GO FOR IT.
