  1. yes. most definitely. 3 of my cousins went to VCS ( Virtual Community School ) in Ohio and two of them have already gone to college and are working really hard. they are doing great. just because you want to go to home school, does not mean it will jeopardize your future in any way. trust me.

i have been to 3 different high schools, and  i Am Going To Utah Valley State College, And Higher Ground Helicopters So I Can Be A Helicopter Pilot. Anything Is Possible.

Just Do Good In Your School Work, And Try Hard.

  2. I had class with a kid last semester who was homeschooled his entire life and I go to a Big Ten school...he was even in Evan's Scholars, which I guess is good...he got a decent scholarship.  as long as you do well, I'm sure colleges don't mind.

  3. you can definitely go to college if you are homeschooled in high school

The same as any school, most offer some of the harder classes that they might call "college track " for students that are anticipating going to college. It's important to remember that colleges often require certain subjects, and sometimes tests like the SATs or ACTs. Kids and parents need to plan to be sure that the home schooling experience is preparing the child to pursue the college or career he or she has in mind. It might be a good idea before high school starts to look into a few colleges and see exactly what the requirements are. For example, my son graduated an online charter school and now attends The University Of Dayton ( a private university) with scholarships, but one of the requirements to be accepted there is that ALL students must have completed one year of Algebra.

  4. It should be fine.

I switched to an actual credited High school in California. But they have a program called distant leaning. It is much eassier on my parents and works fine for me.

So far My grades have gone up and so my GPA is now going up. When looking into college ask, do you accept home schools? Many will bc to many homeschoolers are more driven people and are more focused to get the work done they feel.

  5. Colleges recruit homeschoolers.

You have a rare opportunity, and that is to make your teen years stand out by the way you choose to complete your secondary education.  http://lowryhousepublishers.com/TeenageL...

  6. As long as you follow the Pre-College curriculum.  Check your state's webpage for education.

  7. Yes, of course you can go to college. But make sure the program you're on completes pre-college requirements. It's also not a bad idea to do a few extracurricular or community service things - for example, working in your local community theatre, or volunteering with the Boys/Girls Club. College admissions departments want to see that you can interact well with other people, which is often a concern in home-schooled students.
