  1. The Passport website for the United States Government says you must have a passport if you are going from within the United States.

  2. According to the US Dept. of State, "ALL PERSONS traveling by air outside of the United States are required to present a passport or other valid travel document to enter or re-enter the United States." It is said further that, "CURRENTLY:

U.S. citizens need to present either (a) a passport, passport card (available in spring 2008), or WHTI-compliant document; or (b) a government-issued photo ID, such as a driver’s license, along with proof of citizenship, such as a birth certificate".

  3. Ya gota have a passport.

  4. According to the US Dept. of State web site,  all you need is a certified birth cert. Not a copy and a government issued photo ID. IE:  drivers lic. Call a travel agency or air lines to be sure

  5. your friend lied and never went.... you absolutly need a passport to leave the country on a plane

  6. You will not be allowed on an international flight without a passport...call your airline and they will confirm this.

  7. your friend is a liar... h**l yeah you need a passport.
