  1. yes you can grow it in a tub

    it needs to be one of the larger tubs or half barrels, ideally you would want about 3ft x 3ft x 2ft depth for the root area

    you would need a good helping of manure mixed in with the compost and keep it well watered. ensure there are drainage holes in your container, also if you have a big enough container try and put a brick or two in to stop the barrel being turned over by wind.

    you will also have to site the container away from a walking area as the leaves will spread out a lot if it is doing wellm and walking by and breaking the leaves will only cause the rhubarb stems to rot

    keep it well watered dont drown it but always keep it moist and at the end of season put a layer of compost or manure on the crown to help the plant rejuvenate itself ready for next season

    good luck with it because rhubarb is lovely to eat fresh
