I'm planning to have a barbecue and bonfire for my friends going away party at a local beach, but I just want to check that there won't be any problems.

Also, there will be about 50 kids there, and we will probably make some noise, can the police move you? whats the worst they can do?

  1. Call your city offices and ask THEM what the local regulations are .....or ask your local fire department.  Each area has different restrictions

  2. Unless you are on some really deserted beach on the west coast of Scotland where no one is about you will have problems with 50+people being there....you may need council permission, insurance etc etc....best have it in your back garden instead.

  3. You can have a BBQ, but the bonfire will be a hazard risk and the fire department likely to be called, you'll get cautioned for arson aswell.

  4. The will move you on and call the fire brigade to put the fire out

You will need local council approval for a beach fire. - you won't get it.

50+ people will need public liability insurance, especially with fire or bbq.

The police are going to get involved!

Worst they can do? - wit will be a prosecution under the anti gathering law, the no insurance law, the fire out of control law. EHO may get called due to under cooked saussages, and for the noise factor.

  5. You will have to get council pemission first & tell them how many people  I E adults & children are attending

  6. Nooooooo, il call my daddy for you

  7. You needs to call the parks department and ask.  Where I am, bonfires are not allowed.
