Can I have a cover on my 18' Intex vinyl pool while the pump is one and there's a floater in it?

Just set up my pool for the first time. I have a chlorine floater in it and the pump is running - can I put the cover on the pool?

yup you sure can we do it with our pools at work it won't hurt a thing. you want to leave your pump running so it keeps circulating otherwise it will turn green.
