  1. As long as the stove is an indoor stove and you have a certified person install it, you should be fine. But if the stove is not meant for propane, don't do it. It has to be an indoor propane stove.

  2. Yes. I worked for a major retailer. We sold some propane models and some we converted. We could only convert prior to sale.

The model number generally was different for propane models. You need to be careful when ordering them. Some were not able to be converted because the parts were not available.

For any conversions in the home those were referred to the propane supplier because propane runs off the regulator.

Generally the orifices on our models had to be changed not just adjusted.

  3. yes you can

s******g the orifices inwards till they bottom out sets them to the propane setting, if that is what that plates states.

The orifices are those brass or bronze hex nuts the ends of the top burners set on.

Usually a 7/16 inch open ended wrench fits them.

    Hope this helps

  4. Some gas ranges can be outfitted to use propane gas.  Be careful before ordering.

  5. You certainly can.  You would need a line run from the tank to the stove.  There is an adaptor that you would need that can be purchased whereever you get the stove.
