I don't buy liquor apart from shots when out drinking, but recently I've been becoming a fan of drinking liquor straight (whiskey mainly), can I buy whiskey on it's own without any mixers at all. I like my stuff straight!

I ask for 'whiskey' or 'whiskey on the rocks' , 'double whiskey' ye? same goes for vodka, rum etc

  1. yes, unless the bar has some rule against not mixxing drinks... very few do, but some areas have spcific rules against what bartenders can sell in the way of drinks like wisky/bourbon/ect with real high proofs, like 80+, they have to be mixxed with enough other product to get them below a certain "legal proof".

  2. Of course you can, just ask for it neat.

I prefer Single Malt Scotch myself.

  3. Whiskey Up, Whiskey Neat, Whiskey Chilled, Whiskey Rocks....any of those will work and be just Whiskey.

  4. yes you can

    just request it !i

  5. Whiskey, straight up.

  6. Yes. I make jack on the rocks all the time. You should eat the ice though. No water in your system and you will wake up with a hangover.

  7. Makers Mark bourbon is what you want, me boy.
