Can I have more than one talent agency represent me? and how do i avoid scams?

i've been submiting my daughter's photos to various talent agencies. can i sign with more than one? and what are things to look out for to avoid scams?

  1. Scams will have you pay upfront. In no way does the money come directly from your pocket, talent agencies get a portion of how much money your daughter makes, if they want over 30% of her imcome don't do it.


  2. You can freelance with as many agents as you want before you sign any contracts, and that is normally the best way to feel things out.  As everyone has already pointed out, scams will ask for money.  No legit agent will EVER ask for money upfront!  They won't take any money until you book something.

  3. never pay for an agent.  also you can look for acting jobs yourself.  try this site: hollywood-opportunities(dotcom)

  4. a real agency does not ask for money to repreesent your daughter. they are only supposed to get paid 20 % of any money she makes on commercials etc.
