  1. I would like my old yahoo page back.  This set up is confusing for my younger daughter who loves to play games on the computer.  I cannot make any adjustments either. I dont even know if my emails are going into my folders because i chose one to move and it is still on the screen with the rest of my emails when before it would remove them from the list.

  2. I have taken the trouble to send in my negative feedback on this annoying new format multiple times.

I too would like my old page back, and hoped I could find out how here.

Problems: (1) missing features I used to have; (2) new features I don't want. (3) too wide; (4) too much (wasted) empty space.

  3. What part of NO does Yahoo not understand.  They kept trying to switch me over and I kept saying NO and now they switch me for good without asking me??  Not good!!

  4. I agree, this new format sucks and now are we forced to use it. It looks like Yahoo is going down the toilet and are trying to drag us with them with all their forced "upgrades" that make their their previous good and useful pages much less useful and more frustraiting. Wonder why their stock price that was around 300 a few years back is now struggeling to stay above 20. Microsoft might of even been an improvement as bad as they are. Well it looks like I'm one "improvement" or "upgrade" away from switching to Google.... or mabey this one will do it.

What can we do ??? If we ALL SWITCH TO GOOGLE maybe Jerry Yang and the rest of these Yahoo's will realize they should listen to us and respect our opinions and get on the ball ... BUT THEN AGAIN MAYBE ONCE THERE WE WONT WANT TO COME BACK ????

  5. I've been a Yahoo member for numerous years.  Because of this issue, I just exported my bookmarks and transferred over to Pageflakes  (http://www.pageflakes.com).

It's a VERY friendly interface and attractive.  Join me!!

Good-bye Yahoo.  Ignore your customers, and they'll ignore you back!

  6. The new My yahoo just cannot fit Window Mobile Pocket IE.  With Pocket IE, now I have to scroll left and right, up and down, much more than before.  I've been using My Yahoo to view stock portfolio.

Unfortunately, I find that iGoogle Finance is not as good as Yahoo.  IGoogle cannot show currency and gold price.

Yahoo should at least have an option to change its appearance to simulate what it looks like before.

  7. yahoo have changed everyone to their new home page by stealth, your old home page is now not recognised by the server so your wasting your time trying to get it back again, it like a new marriage, we are stuck with it for better or worse

  8. who tf does yahoo think they are!! Just change your page? we r the ones paying the money they work for us!! I also have sent several messages but to no avail Iam out FT !

  9. Hello,

I do agree with the  question!!!

I would like my old "Yahoo" back!!

I have had it since I had "Web-Tv" came out and had to get a computer to keep up with times.

"Yahoo " was my 1st e-mail and have been with them for since 1999!!

I already  droped "Hot-mail" for the same reason!!

Long story shory short,    I WANT MY  OLD YAHOO BACK!!!

  10. You can't.  But don't just kvetch here.  Provide SPECIFIC complaints at this address:

    http://feedback.help.yahoo.com/feedback....

  11. yahoo is simply uncooperative. all you can do is hit them where they live; maybe they'll get the idea.

here is a place where you can get a hosts file replacement and painless installer which will prevent the download and appearance of yahoo (and many others') advertising:

    http://www.mvps.org/winhelp2002/hosts.ht...

please tell your friends, and help many newbies.

in the end, i honestly hope that yahoo comes to it's senses, but in lieu of that, i suppose that it should be more humane to hasten their consumption by microsoft. . .

  12. I cannot believe this! The message has constantly been that I could keep my old page. Now I am stuck with an awful interface that I did not choose. How hard can it be to keep the old ones. A few Kb of disk space? I have been using this as my portal for years but I am now off searching for something that will work for me both at home and on the road on my PPC.

This is a very disappointing attitude to customer service.

  13. The "new" look is horrid, it doesn't fit and makes viewing very difficult. They stated that "new" bookmarks may not have followed. Well, I listen to AOL music everyday and that link did not follow. I have had it for years. They cut all the bookmarks that they did not want us to have. The only way to to have it our way is to pay them. Who pays for an AOL page or a Google page? They are stuffing this down our throats and I don't appreciate it. I gave up the yahoo mail years ago because of the horrendous spam but I did like the layout of the original page. This page is tiny faded print that takes up much more room. The calendar takes up 1/2 of one column not leaving room for a whole lot else on the view screen before having to scroll. What idiot designed this c**p? I wish I had the time to design a new page at a different site but my original yahoo has been a part of my everyday life for years. I truly resent this. I have filled out their "survey" hundreds of times and told them it is stupid, ugly and unusable but they only listen to paying customers. No other site charges for forwarding mail. The greed is what is hurting all of us.

  14. you cant switch back. as of july 14 everyone must use the new my yahoo.

this means i will be switching my home page to something i like better. bye bye yahoo.

  15. I also don't like the new My Yahoo page.

The biggest reason is the link re-director they are using for your bookmarks.  I have a bookmark for Digg.  Instead of the link leading to www.digg.com, it leads to http://us.lrd.yahoo.com/_ylt=Ag6h0Fg0dU6... .  The only possible reason for this is so Yahoo can keep track of what sites I am visiting.  Sometimes it takes longer to connect to the LRD than it does to connect to the site I actually want.

The lack of a new e-mail notification is just plain stupid.  You have to log in to your Yahoo e-mail before the Personal Assistant on your My Yahoo page can tell you if there are any new e-mails.  That's much less convenient than the old page that had the number of new e-mails up by the Mail link.

And I don't like all the new ajax-y content...  I don't like having to scroll back to where I was because my mouse crossed a section of the page which has now exploded to ten times the size it was.

  16. I agree with Fizz and emachine............I'm outta here.......switching to something other than Yahoo. Yahoo is ignoring the very people who made then such a success.

Perhaps if there is a mass exodus then Yahoo will be saying "Boohoo".

  17. I want my old my.yahoo.com back!!!!
