Can I have stuff in my car if I send it on the ferry to australia?

Some stuff I might not fit on the plane so I want to know if I can put stuff in my car that is getting sent over by ferry. Is there a certain weight the car must be under?

  1. yes. just no drugs :)


  2. You can not smuggle any drugs, children or shrimp for the barbie. Besides that, they will inspect things you take with you and as long as it's kosher, it's aight.

  3. legal things will be tolerated because they value your business but it makes their jobs harder at the ferry inspection points

  4. DON'T DO IT!

    MANY cars end up missing stereos and stuff.

    Just ask any GI that's shipped a vehicle.

    Best to ship UPS.
